Friday, we spent the day in Katy hanging out and trying to figure out where the wedding and rehearsal dinner was going to be housed. Randy and Glenda had to go to the airport to pick up some family, so we went to look for flowers and to the mall for a brief period of time. We took Emma Tucker to the Rainforest Cafe for lunch and met Jamie, Stephanie and Braelynn there too. The rehearsal was at 3:00 so the rest of the day was spent doing wedding stuff. We got there on time, but Dustin got lost and was 30 minutes late. The weather was very nasty so it made it even harder to find things. After the rehearsal, Glenda and I went on to the Swinging Door to get ready for the dinner. We had all you can eat brisket, ribs, chicken and sausage at the dinner and it was served family style. The weather was so bad that the power went out a while during the rehearsal dinner. Luckily, we had put candles on the table earlier. My camera's flash isn't working so I don't have great pictures from the dinner. I'll post a few from the day anyway.

Day Two- On the Road again
Day One- Biloxi

We left on Wednesday, April 15 at 3:15 to head to Katy, Texas for Dustin's wedding. We didn't make too many stops with Emma Tucker, just a few potty breaks and then we went through the drive-thru at Wendy's to get some dinner. We got to Biloxi, MS around 9:00 and stayed at the Grand Casino for the night. It was great for $39 a night! Emma Tucker stayed in the room with Grandmother and Pops while Brandon and I went down to check out the casino. We both have no clue what to do in there so we looked very silly. We thought we would play the nickel slot machines, but it took us a few minutes to figure out where the "spin" button was. Brandon played $2 and won $64 so we quickly decided to cash out and go to bed. Our big night in the casino lasted about 15 minutes. We can't stand the thought of losing money so we quickly quit while we were ahead. Here are a few pictures I took while riding through Biloxi!
Oh yeah..we ate breakfast in the casino restaurant before leaving yesterday and Emma Tucker said, " I want to play". It's not good that my two year old wants to play the slot machines.

Easter Sunday
What a beautiful day for Easter Sunday! We couldn't figure out how to get our flash on so our pictures with our Easter baskets didn't turn out so great. We did get a bunch of pictures after church with our family and friends. Mom cooked a delicious meal for Saturday so we had leftovers on Sunday. I hope your Easter was as great as ours!
Easter egg hunts and outdoor fun in Sylvania
While in Sylvania we had two more Easter Egg Hunts! We hunted eggs with Gamma and Poppy and then at their church. We tried dying eggs, but I am not sure we are old enough yet to enjoy this activity. Emma Tucker just wanted to grab at everything as did the boys. Will spilt the red coloring all over his shirt, shorts and a little bit on me. After that, I decided I was finished with dying eggs. Gamma had bubbles for all the children to play with and we tried flying a kite. Note to self... never buy a dollar store kite because they just don't work. The children had a great time playing together and just being outside and getting some fresh air.
Day Trip to Savannah
Last Friday, Marcie, Max, Mason, Brandon, Emma Tucker, Will, Walker and I packed into the suburban and headed off to Savannah for the day. We went to Uncle Bubba's for lunch and then walked on the beach for a few minutes. It was way too windy and cold for me. The sand was blowing everywhere and for those of you who know me well know I hate sand! I was ready to get back into the car and head home. We were going to get the children out on River Street, but they were getting tired by now. Brandon decided to just drive down River Street instead.
