As luck would have it...

Well, we tried to have our pictures taken yesterday with the rabbits. They were so excited about going to see the bunnies, but when it was their turn the tables changed. Will just wanted to stand there, Walker kept grunting and refusing to go near them and Emma Tucker played with them for awhile until we tried to get her brothers in the area. Since they obviously didn't want to cooperate, I packed up and came home. I wasn't going to fight with them and it saved me money in the long run. However, they did look cute all in their matching bunny outfits.
Also, I had even suffered through a haircut with Walker yesterday all for these pictures. He really did need a haircut bad, but the pictures were my excuse to make him do it. The lady cutting his hair summed him up well... after he had been screaming the entire time she said, "He isn't scared at all.. hasn't shed one tear. He is just mad." Will was fine getting his haircut because he had a sucker to eat. Walker didn't care what we did or gave him.. he just wanted to be left alone.
Well, Will has been throwing up this morning and we are not sure if he is really sick or just drank his milk too fast at breakfast. However, I'm not surprised... everytime they have school parties someone is sick. It's time for Easter Egg Hunts tomorrow so someone has to step up and get sick for the gang.

March 27, 2009

Well, I know I haven't been blogging much but there hasn't been much going on around here. Also, the main reason is I can't type without all the kids pulling on me and trying to check their e-mail too. Yes, I know they are too little for e-mail, but they don't know that. As a matter of fact, as I type right now my pants are being pulled in all directions as I stand and try to type. They all want me to hold them right now and hate when I get on the computer.
I guess I could use this post to tell funny stories on the children (if I can remember them now)
Well, Will is talking up a storm and it amazes me what he can and does say all the time. The other day I was climbing up on a stool to look for some cereal. He looked at me and said, "careful momma... be careful." At meal times if we haven't said the blessing yet he folds his hands and says "amen momma amen."
Walker is talking also, but not as much as Will. Brandon says Will just likes to showoff what he knows. Walker is going to be our builder. He will sit and build with his legos for a lot longer than the other two. Once again, he amazes me at what he can come up with. I on the other hand, get bored and build the worst towers imaginable. I guess he gets his building from his daddy.
Emma Tucker continues to make us laugh on a daily basis. She is loving school and is such the teacher at home. This morning she was reading to her brothers who she adores. Last Sunday, we were in Jasper and went to their church. Emma Tucker was very protective and kept telling the other children those were here brothers! She has been scaring us a little lately. She keeps talking about wanting a sister! By the way, never say anything around her that you don't want repeated or remembered. She honestly doesn't forget anything! It is crazy, but she sure is cute singing every song she hears. She loves to sing so much that I am ready to brake the Cds in our car already.
Brandon is doing very well on his diet and has lost a lot of weight. The Biggest Loser ends next week so we will know soon if he is the winner. This morning one of his students said he was looking puny.
We finally decided on a vacation for the summer. We are going to Daytona and now I can't wait. We are going to go to Seaworld one day and I am going to try to get tickets for breakfast with Elmo. I know the children would love it! I am going to try to do better with posting more. We have some school Easter Egg hunts next week so hopefully I will have some new pictures soon.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day. I haven't been able to get any pictures of the boys yet today. I'll try again after naptime. While the boys were in daycare Emma Tucker was dressed up as an elf for a commercial. At first, she was sitting in the car with another elf but she had to go potty. Therefore, she sat most of it out. Also, she was afraid of Santa Claus and didn't want to be anywhere near him. She did manage to go back out during the very last shoot (when I bribed her with fries).

Ephesians 4:29: Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs; that it may benefit those who listen.

Check out Beth Moore's blog on my favorites list to see what incentive she is now offering all of us who are memorizing scripture throughout the year. It's pretty cool and it will be under her March 15 blog. It is livingproofministries.blogspot.com

March 1 Scripture

Matthew 6:34
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
