Becky and Nolan came to play!
This afternoon Becky and Nolan stopped by to swim for a while. The kids always love having company and someone new to entertain them. Emma Tucker played for a while while the twins took a nap. As usual, Walker didn't sleep very long. However, when Brandon put him in the pool he chilled out. He probably floated for 45 minutes to an hour. When Will woke up he played in the baby pool for a while until Brandon put him in the pool with him. They both seem to love swimming now. Brandon thinks they just enjoy getting some attention whenever they can. After our day in the sun, Emma Tucker and I came in and enjoyed some home-made ice cream Myhand style. Last week we bought a new ice cream maker; however, it didn't work so we just froze the mixture. It sure does taste good though. Emma Tucker and I couldn't get enough of it. Our excuse was we had to eat a little bit extra for PopPop since he is in the hospital. Emma Tucker is sleeping like a baby now and I sure do wish I was with her.

Guess what? Someone actually came to look at our house today for the first time. However, they said it was too small. Better luck next time (I hope). Anyway, this morning we loaded up and drove down to Vidalia to see my grandfather in the hospital. His heart is functioning at 15% right now. He has to stay in the hospital this weekend so they can monitor and run tests on him. Emma Tucker kept saying "PopPop". She knew who she was supposed to go and see. It gets my mom that she can say "PopPop, Mimi and Poppy", but not Gamma. It didn't gross Emma Tucker out at all when the nurse was putting IVs in his arm. Needless to say, I had to walk out of the room. Maybe she will want to be a nurse one day in the future. The kids sure enjoyed visiting their great-grandparents today. We sure hope PopPop gets better real soon!

Not much happening around here lately
There has not been much to post lately. The kids and I have just been hanging out around here. Tuesday, the kids were wild! I'm not sure if they got used to having Brandon around over the weekend or what... but they were irritable. I tried taking them to the library for Toddletales, but that is not an activity for the Myhand clan. All the other toddlers were sitting quietly listening to the story, but not Emma Tucker. She just wanted to run around the run and everytime I would try and stop her she proceeded to scream. It was just a little embarrassing. Needless to say, I asked Brandon to take her to work with him yesterday so she could get out of the house. I think they had a good day together. He took her McDonalds for lunch and to a park to play. Today, we are just playing around the house. I am keeping a friend's baby for her and my kids are enjoying having someone different around to play with.

Party Time at Izzy's House
Whew! That is the only way I know how to sum up tonight's fun! Our good friends Karie and Brian had an awesome party for their new little girl Isabella today. Her adoption was final last week and went over to celebrate their joy with them. They had rented an inflatable water slide and Emma Tucker adored it! She went up the slide over and over and over with no fear. By the end of the evening she was climbing up the slide alone. I couldn't believe it. All the other kids were older and were pretty good about watching out for her. They also had water balloons which she was fond of also. I'm not sure she ever caught on to the fact that she was supposed to aim them at people. Her favorite target was the ground. They also had a kiddie pool out which the twins played in for a little while. Here are the pictures of the night! We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

On Thursday, Brandon and Emma Tucker were playing outside and Emma Tucker decided to take a dive into the pool. Luckily, her daddy was standing right beside her and could pull her out. Needless to say, it scared her to death. We haven't decided it this is a good or bad thing. She hasn't been afraid of the pool before so she may not try to do it again. On the other hand, we don't want her afraid of the water. We immediately tried to get her to put on her life jacket and go for a swim. She said, "No Mommy," and put her life jacket on the kitchen counter. She didn't want anything to do with the pool. So, we decided to put her brothers in and see if she would want to go swimming then. Walker didn't like it very much. It was a little too cold for his likings. He didn't help Emma Tucker very much. Later that evening, we let Will go swimming and he liked it. Now Emma Tucker is trying to put her feet in the pool again and get a little closer to going swimming again. We have got to get her into swimming lessons this summer. Here are a few pictures of the boys' first dip into the pool.

Here are a few pictures of Emma Tucker's class party. They are all wearing t-shirts with each other's hand prints on them. The party consisted of Emma Tucker's favorite thing- eating! They had Happy Meals and a cookie cake. Emma Tucker was the last one finished eating and did not want to get out of her high chair. They finally just had to take her french fries away. The other kids just wanted to push the twins around, but bossy big sister thought differently. She would fuss at anyone who tried to mess with them. We were sad to tell her teachers good-bye today. She LOVED going and they were awesome with the children! Afterwards, we stopped by the square to listen to a band and see some friends of ours. How come their children will sit quietly on a blanket and listen to the music while I am running around everywhere chasing mine? Some people have all the luck!
A Day at the Ballfield
Yesterday we had a last minute trip to North Oconee High School. I found out Screven County was playing baseball in Bogart so we decided to go and cheer them on. The kids had a blast getting out of the house and getting to play with the other children. Emma Tucker got plenty of exercise running around the stands. A couple of times we even thought she was going to batting practice. She scared some of the moms when she picked up a bat and started running around.
After the game we ran by Earthfare to get some baby food. For those of you who know my boys and their not so good eating skills we have switched to organic food for them the past few weeks. It's been amazing at how much better they eat now. For dinner we stopped by Jason's Deli and by the end of it the waitstaff had earned their money. My kids had food everywhere. Emma Tucker did not want to go home and tried to stay with the waiters. That girl doesn't let anything come between her and her food. Warning to all of you out there... NEVER try to take her food away!

Emma Tucker's first dip in the pool this year
After dinner tonight, Emma Tucker got to take her first swim of the season. She was filthy after eating spaghetti so we let her get in the pool. As you can tell from her face, it was a little cold! She didn't stay in there very long. The boys were looking on from their pack-n-play. They got frightened when Daddy jumped in. We've got to toughen them up!
YEAH BRANDON!
We are so proud of Brandon! He finished his Master's Sunday in Library Media. After three years of doing school work, he can put that behind him. I know he has to feel relieved to know he has finally finished all of his projects for his Master's Degree. Brandon finished it in Myhand style- his parent's had to hand deliver it to the professor so it would be there on time! Nothing like waiting to the last minute. However, I don't know how he kept his sanity the past few weeks... working in Eatonton... then driving to Collins Hill for spring football.. coming home late at night to be a daddy and work on school work.
We think Will is going to talk before his big sister. Emma Tucker is talking ( slowly but surely). However, Will said "eye" last night and again today. Walker is just like his big sister.. wild and into everything!

Will and the Bouncing Zebra
Spring Fling
Yesterday, Emma Tucker had Spring Fling at her school. She had fun, but her favorite station was the blow up slides. I just knew she was going to get hurt with all the big kids sliding down, but she sees no fear. The boys just had to ride around in their wagon, but they enjoy it much more than their stroller.

The boys need their time also!
I felt bad not to post pictures of the boys also. They are crawling, pulling up and getting into everything these days! They keep us laughing and on our toys all the time. Will and Walker crack each other up and they are always laughing at each other. Will can say "Mama, Dada, and Uh-oh". Walker can also say "Mama, Dada", but he says bye-bye. It is so cute to hear them talk to us.
Water Day
This morning Emma Tucker had water day at school. They played in kiddie pools and shared beach toys between them. I can't believe this year is almost over. Emma Tucker has loved going to school and I know she is going to miss it terribly. For that matter, so is her mother! She has loved her teachers this year and gets so excited when I drop her off in the mornings.
