Elmo's Green Thumb

Yesterday, at friend of mine called and had free tickets to Elmo today so we jumped on the opportunity to go. We all went last year and the kids had a great time. However, there wasn't a Falcons game last year getting out at the same time. We got there right before intermission since all the roads were blocked and traffic was horrible! Our parking was awesome because it took us right to the suite where our seats were. The seats were incredible too, but the children were not to interested in the show. One half was plenty long for Emma Tucker. Emma Tucker really cared more about eating than watching the show. I guess the awe of Elmo is gone since she has seem them 3 times now. We had a good time, but said we think this will be our last trip to Elmo unless I decide to take the boys. However, they didn't get into it too much this summer when we saw a show at Seaworld.

Sunday Afternoon Naps

Nap time at the Myhand house is a disaster and no more. Here are a few pictures of what happens when the boys are supposed to be sleeping. However, the pictures do not do it justice. This happended last Sunday also. They throw over the bookcase and everything on it. The pictures are torn off the walls and stuff is strewn everyone. Today, the bookcase broke when they threw it over. Life with multiples is never boring.
After I came back down stairs from straightening up the their room, Emma Tucker was painting her feet blue! I had another mess to clean up then too! If you are ever bored on Sundays, come visit us because are jumping!

Collins Hill vs. Chattahoochee

on the way home from Athens today
playing on the field after the game with her Daddy

Emma Tucker received all smiley faces this week so I told her she could go with me to her Daddy's football game on Friday night. She did great and I was thrilled. Her are a few pictures from the night.

Weekend Get Away

At the last minute we decided to go out of town Saturday night and head north. We spent Saturday in Jasper, GA and watched football all day. We got some rooms at the Woodbridge Inn with the rest of the Myhand family. We had lunch at the Carriage House Coffee Shop and had dinner at a seafood restaurant. Sunday morning we headed up to Blue Ridge, GA to go to Mercier Apple Orchard to pick some apples. This was my first time picking apples and it was so much fun. The children all loved the freedom to run around in the orchard, pick apples, eat them and throw them like balls. The weather was overcast and a little rainy, but it felt great. The apples were so yummy and the fried pies were even better!

Oh yeah, it wouldn't be a complete without a little drama. We got a bolt in our tire and had to stop and plug it.
