Today I took the boys to get their first haircut. They did much better than I ever expected (especially since they can't stand me brushing their hair). Hopefully now people will not mistake them for girls.

Happy Birthday Emma Tucker
Happy 2nd birthday sweet girl! I can't believe Emma Tucker is two. It seems just like yesterday that we found out we were having a girl! It is amazing how much she is growing up since she has turned two. Well, actually tomorrow is her birthday. This morning Brandon went to get her up out of bed and she was standing in the middle of her room. She had climbed out of her bed! I guess she just wanted to let us know that she wanted a new bed for her birthday. Needless to say, she got one. We went to Babies r Us and bought her a toddler bed. I am so proud of her because she did not make a scene tonight when switching to her new bed. I am so nervous about what she might get into not being in her crib anymore. Everytime I checked back in on her she was in her new bed, but she had more stuff in her bed with her. She kept piling more pillows, stuffed animals and books into bed with her. I so want to go and check on her, but I think I was keeping her from sleeping. Here is a picture of her in her new bed!
Today was Emma Tucker's birthday outing since Brandon has to work tomorrow. We got up early this morning and headed to Cleveland to go to Baby Land General. Marcie, Max and Mason met us up there for the day. We got to see a Cabbage Patch doll being born and they named it Christine Emma. We kept yelling Emma's name hoping they would name it after her. Marcie thought I should buy it for Emma Tucker since she saw it being born and it was named after her. You can choose their hair color, eye color, etc. However, it would have cost $210 so we let her pick out another one. She told Max if they ever had a little girl they would do that. Max thought otherwise. Initially, Emma Tucker picked out twin baby dolls, but we got her another one that was named Lauren Lola. She had a lot of fun running around the place and seeing the dolls. I have attached some pictures from Babyland General. We then went back to Gainesville to eat at a Japanese restaurant. The kids did really well, but you should have seen all the rice on the floor when we left. Brandon looked down at one point and realized his salad was in his lap and on the floor. It didn't even faze him. Walker had grabbed a handful of lettuce and thrown the plate on the floor. After we finished eating we had cupcakes for her birthday celebration (which she loved). I let her have another one tonight after dinner and it was all over her stomach, face and arms by the end of it. We had a really great day and it marked the end of our summer fun. Tomorrow I am going to take breakfast to Emma Tucker's Sunday School class so she will think she is having a little party for her birthday. Tomorrow afternoon we are going to Reagan and Levi's birthday party.

This morning, we decided to go for a day trip to Hiawasee to the North Georgia Mountain Fair. Wednesdays have been Brandon's day off this summer so we like to do something fun as a family. We packed a picnic and stopped in Helen and had a picnic by the river. That was probably the most fun part of the day. After that we loaded back up and road over the mountain to Hiawasee to the fair. We didn't stay there too long. Emma Tucker rode a few rides and we walked around some before we decided to head back home. We stopped outside of Gainesville and met Marcie, Max and Mason for a hamburger at the Dari Spot. It was great because they had picnic tables outside and Emma Tucker could just run around and use up some energy before we headed back home. Here are a few pictures of our day.
It will be a while before I can post more pictures up on our blog. I am taking the kids to Sylvania for a long weekend while Brandon goes to Miami. Have a good weekend!

Kayden's 2nd Birthday Party
Yesterday we took the children to Flowery Branch to Kayden's 2nd birthday party. They had a great time playing with each other. Will and Walker got to enjoy their first taste of cupcakes. Julie had some that were dairy and egg free so we let them taste it. Thanks for inviting us Julie. I don't know who was more exhausted at the end of the party.. the kids or us. They slept the whole way home which was great.

It's great to be home! It's nice to travel and visit family, but it is great to be home and get back into our routine. The children are doing great and playing very well together. Walker is walking all over the place and it too cute doing it. He raises his hands in the air and boogies. This morning Walker was sitting in his chair eating breakfast and Will crawled up wanting some of his food. He cracked me up because he looked like a little bird opening his mouth wanting his mother to drop food into it. Will put his head side by side with Walker and tried to eat Walker's breakfast. It may not sound too funny to everyone else but it still makes me smile when I think about them each wanting the applesauce. It is especially nice since it has been a long haul just getting Will wanting to eat baby food. For so long he wouldn't even open his mouth. Now he opens it like a little bird. Today, Holly and Ashley brought Kirby Lynn and Reagan over to play. Later on Donna stopped by for a visit and to see the children. It was great getting to visit with her.

July 3- Happy 30th Birthday Brandon
Today was Brandon's 30th birthday and we went to Birmingham to eat lunch with Dustin and Jacy. We suprised him with a party tonight at the lakehouse with all of his family. He says he was actually suprised.. which suprises me. I just knew he knew something was up. Emma Tucker learned a new word tonight... suprise.. or in her words... prize....everytime anyone would walk into the room she would yell..."prize". It was too cute!
