Emma Tucker was reading her bible and she said, " Look momma, HoHo!" I told her HoHo was not in the bible. She said, "yes... look... right there!". It was Noah. I guess our new lesson is every old man with a white beard is not Santa Claus.
Last night at the end of the prayers she said, "elephants." So I said you want to pray for the animals right. Of course Brandon chimed in and said I think she saying thank you for Alabama. Of course that is what would come to his mind. So Brandon continues to say "Roll Tide" in the middle of our prayers. We thought will was asleep by this time but all of a sudden we hear roll tide come out of Will's mouth too. I guess she was trying to be fair because she is always praying for dawgs and that was the first word out of her mouth when she learned to talk!

Funnies
Sorry for all the crazy updates today... I just can't help myself....
Right now we are laughing (or should be grossed out) at Emma Tucker and Walker fighting over boogers! Brandon asked Emma Tucker if she had a ladybug in her nose(another story) and she said, "no... a booger". We cracked up and she wiped it on Brandon's sock. Then Walker ran up and grabbed the sock and she started chasing him saying, "that's Emma Tucker's booger!" I guess EVERYTHING is really hers these days!
Another funny (at least it is to us)...Emma Tucker got the t-ball tee and balanced her juice cup on top of the tee. She would kick the tee like it was a kickball to make her cup going flying. Walker got smart and started using his hands to bat the juice cup off the tee. Doesn't seem as funny now but it was to us at the time.
As I type, this one is not so funny on our little girl... she wanted a drink and Brandon told her she had drank enough to tonight... all of a sudden I heard water pouring (sounded like somone was going to the bathroom) and I looked up and she was pouring her daddy's water on the floor. We guess she was telling him if you don't fix me a drink I am going to pour your's out on the floor! It is totally not funny, but kinda is if you think about... she was like... I'm going to show you daddy!
On a serious note, last night I was laying down with Emma Tucker and we were going to say our prayers. She told me we had to wait on Bentley to get in bed too so we did. I said our prayers once, she asked for me to do it again, said them again, and she wanted more. I told her to say them so she asked me to help her. So, I would say a few words and she would repeat me. We prayed twice more and then she wanted more prayers. Needless to say, I told her to do it by herself and she did! When she was finished she said, "I did it Mommy". What a sweet moment we had last night at bedtime.

Picture Time
Here are a few pictures of Emma Tucker before she and I went to church this morning. The boys stayed home because they have been running fever. Will is coughing too. Joy is coming over this afternoon and while she is here she is going to check them out. If there is more to tell, I will update later. Also, here is a poor picture of Will from where he fell on the fireplace last night. His face is all scraped up!

It's scripture time again.. I am sticking to scripture about God's will...that is a big topic with us... do we move...stay put...what is His will for us...
Romans 12:2-Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will.

January 28, 2009
Last weekend when it was warm we went outside for a while to play in the yard. They drove their cars, bicycles, played golf, t-ball and threw the football. I was trying to get Emma Tucker to chase me but she told me it was too hot to run outside. Such a girl and it was only January.... what is she going to do in July? We have an old refrigerator in the garage and I had no idea she had hidden toy bottles and pots and pans in there. All she really wanted to do was "cook" even when we were outside.
