Bamboo Pink

I recently signed up to be a consultant with a new jewelry company Bamboo Pink. The jewelry is by Jude Frances and can be sold on-line through virtual parties! The jewelry will start at $19 and go to around $100. It should be available for purchase around April 1st. The best part is that it is free to join and become a consultant. There is no risk in joining!

Friday Funnies!

Ok... I am going to try and think of some of the funny things they did this past week:
Will: "Mom is Santa coming with the snow?"

At school yesterday Walker's teacher asked him if he was a monkey. He responed by saying, "No, I'm a pig" and then began making pig noises. You should hear his pig noises...we can't do it to save our lives.

It was dad's day at school this week and Emma Tucker wrote a poem about her dad.
Here are a few things it said:
My dad is as handsome as dinosaurs.
She wouldn't trade him for candy.
She knows he is strong by his muscles.
She knows he is really made when he cries! (She probably hasn't ever even seen him cry!)
His favorite thing to do is paint. (what a joke)

How come when I want to type what they did I can't remember a thing!

Hello February!

Wow! I can't believe how busy 2010 has been and will continue to be. This time of year is usually slow for us and not this crazy, but not this year. Brandon and I have taken on a Sunday School class in January and we are loving it. It is geared for singles/couples in their 20's. Brandon and our pastor's wife are co-teaching this class and I am sorta in charge of outreach I guess you could say (I send the e-mails and try to keep things together). It is a new classs we just added to our church and it meets at 11:00. We are going to the 9:30 worship service and then we meet for SS. We are averaging 25 people each week and that is really exciting. Brandon and I have made new friendships and are truely excited about this opportunity.
I guess all our crazy busyness stems from church. Brandon had a deacon's retreat one weekend in January and something every other weekend since.
The kiddos continue to crack us up and amaze us daily. Tonight, I was upstairs and E.T. comes and tells me I have a phone call. I just look at her for a while thinking she is kidding. Brandon was upstairs too so I thought maybe she was just trying to get me to go watch Barney with her. But, sure enough, she had answered the phone and come and got me. I know she is really growing up when she can answer the phone and take messages. It is sad to think she is growing up but exciting at the same time. Her teachers describe her as self-sufficient and I think they have her pegged correctly.
The boys are really maturing also. They are a lot of work, but so much fun. There is nothing cuter than looking at those two running around in their cowboy boots. Tonight, I made Will take a shower with me to save time and he started crying. He said he was scared of the rain. It cracked us up. After Brandon put Will to bed, we heard someone yelling and we thought it was E.T.; however, it was Will. He wanted us to bring him some medicine.
Yesterday, Walker was throwing things at the window and said, "Awesome! That is really awesome." He thought it was great to throw things at the window.
Enough of my rambling.. I'll try to get better and post more often.

Happy Birthday to Me

Today is my 34th birthday and it is has been so relaxing. It is going on 3:00 and we are still in our PJs. We are not going anywhere so we may not even get dressed today. This morning it was so sweet to hear all my children sing Happy Birthday to me. Birthdays are so much more fun now that the children understand. They have been so excited about my birthday and couldn't wait for it to come. Emma Tucker said a few weeks ago she was going to get me a Tinkerbell cake. She and her daddy did make me a cookie cake last night. Since it is my birthday we all had cake for breakfast. Here is a picture of the cake they made me.

Christmas in Sylvania

patiently waiting

Christmas Day we drove down to Sylvania and had lunch with Aunt Deanne, Uncle Jim and my parents. My mom had cooked tons of yummy food and we had a great lunch. Marcie, Max, and Mason didn't get down until later that evening and it was all we could do to hold my children off from opening presents. As soon as they got there we let the children unwrap their gifts. All they wanted to do was tear off the paper.. what was inside didn't really matter. Then we ate dinner again and later that evening the adults got to open their presents. On Saturday morning, Uncle Roddy brought Mimi and Poppop over for a Christmas visit.

Christmas Morning

The children woke up around 5:45 to see what Santa had brought them. We put them in our bed and hoped they would go back to sleep, but we didn't have any luck. We went ahead and got up at 6:15 to let them play. I cooked a casserole the night before se we didn't have to worry about breakfast when we woke up. Santa brought Emma Tucker a bike, guitar and laptop. The boys got scooters and helmets, toy guns and hats. Since it was raining and there wasn't much to do, we went ahead and left for my parents around 9:30 that morning.

Feeding the Reindeer

Tonight, before we put the children to bed we read The Night Before Christmas. Afterwards, we left Santa a cupcake went outside to leave food for his reindeer. This was the first time we have ever fed his reindeer and they found it to be a lot of fun. All three children slept together tonight and went down really easy. I don't really know what to do with myself.
