Last Friday, Marcie, Max, Mason, Brandon, Emma Tucker, Will, Walker and I packed into the suburban and headed off to Savannah for the day. We went to Uncle Bubba's for lunch and then walked on the beach for a few minutes. It was way too windy and cold for me. The sand was blowing everywhere and for those of you who know me well know I hate sand! I was ready to get back into the car and head home. We were going to get the children out on River Street, but they were getting tired by now. Brandon decided to just drive down River Street instead.

Sillies
This morning, Will and Emma woke up very early and were playing in the play room at Gamma and Poppy's house. Emma looked outside and said, "Where'd the eggs go?" Will, who is only 19 months old, said to her, "In the basket." We thought this was hilarious. Will's vocabulary is blowing our minds. Walker has started talking his head off the last few weeks as well. Emma has developed a closeness to God that we can all aspire to. This morning, when her Daddy told her to get out of the bathroom, she said, "Daddy, don't tell me to do that." When he asked her why he shouldn't tell her what to do, she said, "Because baby Jesus likes me." I guess she thinks Jesus's fondness of her is her get out of jail free card.

Easter with the McGills
Katie's Journey
Tonight, was the last night of our study of Hebrews and how sad I am. I loved meeting with these ladies weekly and completing mission projects with them. Katie Folden was our guest speaker tonight and what an amazing testimony she has to tell. If you ever need a speaker for your church, small group, WMU... ask her to come. She is also an artist and paints or does a chalk talk while she is speaking. She has wonderful gift in art and uses it as she speaks to you. She has been called to go to Japan and she hopes to leave in September. I am adding her blog as one of my favorites so we can all follow along on her journies now. http://www.katiesjourneys.blogspot.com/

churchwide Easter Egg Hunt
Yeah! No rain! It was a beautiful day for an Easter Egg Hunt and the kids had a great time playing and running around. It was at the Mark's Farm in Mansfield and it was an excellant location for an Easter Egg Hunt. Marcie and Max drove down to join in the fun and brought Mason too. Once again, Will was all about hunting the eggs and Emma Tucker and Walker didn't care too much about it. Emma Tucker was excited to see the Easter bunny until Will had a screaming fit so she joined in the fun of screaming too. Later on, Marcie and Max had their picture taken with him and she was just fine.
