Today was a day full of fun for everyone! Brandon and I went Christmas shopping and to dinner at Dante's down the Hatch. He was treating me to a nice dinner after a long football season. Dinner was very yummy and lots of fun. Thanks Brandon! Uncle Dustin and Jacy treated Emma Tucker to a day of fun at the Georgia Aquarium while we went Christmas shopping. They said when she first got there she started running and screaming in excitement at all the fish. She got to visit with Santa Claus again at the aquarium and didn't even cry! Will and Walker stayed home and played with Grandmother and Pops all day. Gamma stopped by to bring everyone their christmas pajamas and grab a few kisses before heading home.

Emma Tucker funnies...
Tonight at dinner we were eating poppyseed chicken casserole and Emma Tucker said, "Look Mommy, bugs! Emma eat bugs!" She thought the poppyseed was bugs and it was funny that she was getting to eat bugs for dinner. She cracks me up and I hope it added a little laughter to your day too!

Santa at Phipps
Today, we met all the McGills at Phipps Plaza to take pictures with Santa Claus. We have been talking about going to see Santa and Emma Tucker was really excited. The children looked adorable in their matching Christmas clothes too. However, when we walked up Emma Tucker planted her feet and started screaming and so did the boys. They wouldn't get near poor Santa Claus! He got up and let us sit in his chair with the children. When they were not looking he stood behind us for the picture. I have no idea how the final picture turned out. Max was videoing and I wish I had it to post. It would provide everyone with their daily dose of laughter. It was hysterical to see how they all reacted! Afterwards, we tried to take some family pictures and they did okay. They were so tired so we decided to forego going to dinner with everyone and came back home.
Girls Night
On Saturday night Emma Tucker, Mom and I went to a wedding in Sylvania. We had a really good time and Emma Tucker felt like a little princess all dressed up. She behaved so well and I didn't even have to chase her. She acted all grown up without her little brothers around (they stayed home with daddy to watch football). She ate cake, drank Ginger Ale, and danced the night away. She kept her purse close to her all night too. Before we left for the wedding she even had to put on her lipstick! She is such a girl and I love it! When we got home Gamma, Emma Tucker and I had slumber party and slept in Gamma's bed.

I want to be Martha Stewart...Betty Crocker...but I am not! Last night, Brandon and I got the children together to make a gingerbread house. It was too cold to go and get our Christmas tree so we decided to make a gingerbread house instead. It's not near as much fun as it looks! (or easy for that matter). I guess my icing was too thick because I didn't have the arm strength to squeeze it out. After decorating the door I was over it (and that was the first thing I did). I did go on to do a little more, but I ended up throwing out lots of candy. I am mad none of my pictures turned out, because they would have been pretty funny. Emma Tucker and I used cornstarch to make each other look like Santa Claus. By the end of the night, our floor was covered in cornstarch. Brandon took lots of pictures, but for some reason none of them turned out. Guess what... Emma Tucker has already eaten a lot of the candy off the roof! Imagine that.
