This year I got smart and bought the foam gingerbread houses at Michaels (thanks Julie for this idea on your blog last year). Last year, we tried making a gingerbread house and it was the biggest mess I have even seen. We might try again when the children get bigger, but this year we decided to make the foam sticker houses instead. The children had fun putting the stickers on the house. Here are the pictures of us putting together our house.
