Happy Halloween

Here are a few pictures of my cute dinosaurs out in the rain trick-or-treating! We went to a Halloween party this afternoon and then braved the rain tonight for a little trick-or-treating. They did great and had a blast. Emma Tucker is Baby Bop, Will is BJ and Walker is Barney.

Burt's Farm

We went up to Burt's Farm today and had a fabulous time! This was the first year we have gone and it has been cool which was great! We did the hayride and the kiddos loved it. Will was so cute talking back to the "Talking Pumpkins" on the hayride. After we went to the pumpkin patch, the girls went shopping at the outlets and the boys came home to watch football.

Fall Break

This past week the children and I were on fall break and we really had a good time hanging out with each other. On Thursday, we went to Athens and met Gamma and Poppy at the Varsity for lunch. I wanted to take pictures of them on their first trip to the Varsity, but it was way too crowded. Afterwards, we met Brandon at Collins Hill and tookt them to a 9th grade game. The boys were so excited to be at a football game. Since Brandon wasn't coaching he took them on the field and they thought it was awesome. Once again, I wanted to take some pictures but it was raining so I didn't get my camera out of the car. We are enjoying the cooler weather and I hope it stays cool next Saturday when we go to the Pumpkin Patch with the children. Today's pictures is of all the children after they got dressed for church.

Corndawgs

A friend from highschool brought her children up for the weekend and we had a great time hanging out. On Friday night we took the children out for Pizza and then to Scoops for ice cream. Saturday morning we got up and went to Corndawgs cornmaze for the morning. It is a new one they just opened this year in Walnut Grove and the children LOVED it. I am considering getting a season pass next year because there is so much for the children to do.

Congratulations Brandon

Life has been very busy lately, but very fulfilling too. Brandon and I were able to have the day by ourselves and on Saturday and head to Athens. We had a great time, but just wished we could have won. Collins Hill is 5-0 so that is exciting for us now too. It is hard to believe the regular season is half way over. I am enjoying football season more this year, but I am realived that I have made it half way through. It is always nice to have Brandon home again in the evenings to help. The children are doing well at school and seem to love going 5 days a week. I think it was the best decision I could have made when I decided to go back to work. I am loving it and so are my children. Here are a few new things Emma Tucker has picked up lately at school: she knows here left vs. right; the Pledge to the Christian Flag and to the American Flag, comes home telling me the sounds of her letters; recognizing numbers etc. She is soaking up everything right now and loves being a student. In the afternoons we have been trying to work on our sight words a little bit. She know 3 words right now: hi, go and Jack.
Oh yeah.. the reason for this post... Brandon was ordained today at church as a deacon. We are prould of you Brandon. We know you will serve our church well.
